Dance Marathon bar night

I'm super proud of myself for being able to go to Dance Marathon bar night last night.

I'm in Dance Marathon with a good friend and previously when she couldn't go to something I didn't go either. But I was able to go last night. I was partly nervous because pre-gaming was at this house south of campus and that's a pretty shady area and where most of our crime alerts come from. I was also nervous about just not knowing anyone really well (I'd met everyone there before but we hadn't interacted much). I really wanted to go, though, and our Dance Captain had picked up on my reluctance to go without her and I didn't like the implication that I was just doing Dance Marathon to hang with my friend. So I went, had an okay time (the music at the bar sucked), got to know people better, and am very glad I went (though I'm pretty sure I was risking frost bite going home in 2F weather)
