Hey, I'm Kimi.

Hey there! I'm Kimi, and I'm 23 years old, from England.
I like cats, music, photography, letters, tea and tumblr. Ha.
I was first diagnosed with Social Anxiety and Depression when I was 16 years old, but I've suffered from it for as long as I can remember. I always chose to be alone, because interactions with other people were awkward. I had few friends, but I kept them close.
Over the past few years, I've seen various therapists and tried various things. I'm determined to keep trying to step out of my comfort zone, even if it is incredibly hard for me sometimes.
My mother also suffers from social anxiety, but her's is much more severe than mine. When I first told her I had it, and depression, she refused to believe it. She refused to believe her daughter would suffer the way she does. Yet, over the years, she's realised that by denying it, she can't help it, and now we help each other. I do not live at home, I live with my fiancé and two cats, but whenever we can, both of us will go out somewhere together, supporting each other, and we both come away from it feeling much happier.
