Went to the Doctor's

I'm currently on the waiting list for CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), so I went to see the GP for the second time today. As I'm unable to really talk to anyone in my life about the way I feel, it felt like a great relief to unload on someone completely non-judgmental. I also got to work on looking someone in the eyes, which was hard but I felt great that I managed to do it for 50%+ of the conversation.

I guess this could also be posted in treatment, but given I'm not actually receiving any treatment yet, I thought I'd just post this here because it really made the rest of my day better.

Eye contact is definitely something I need to work on... The amount of times that old ladies at work have told me not to talk to my shoes, it's so embarrassing >.<

Definitely keep us updated on how things go, would be great to hear. Congratulations as well, sounds like it went well anyway, a good step in the right direction. c:
